The Mole a reality TV show based on the concept of team cooperation while attempting to ferret out the Saboteur of their booty to win fabulous prizes in exotic locales is once again upon us. This time around The Mole 2 has attempted to gain an audience and spark interest by dropping clues as to the identity of the Mole so the home audience could play along. The problem of course are the tools to uncover the mystery are also the tools that may have spoiled the show for all viewers.
When the shows lackluster host announces at the beginning of each show to keep your eyes pealed for clues to Mole’s identity thousands of home viewers did just that and figured out who the Mole was after just three episodes The clue given to the audience during episode 3 when the players arrived at their hotel and received a telegram from "The Mole". In the telegram there was a phone number identifying the sender of the message. The number was 843-665347-00245500. Some budding detectives compared the numbers to the corresponding letters found on a telephone keypad. If the zeros are eliminated, the numbers spell out THE MOLEIS BILL.
843=THE
Bill is the 58-year-old contestant who claims to be a retired rear admiral from Oak Harbor, WA.
Could the Producers at ABC allow this to slip through the cracks, or could the show be trying to trick the home audience as well. Either way will the "The Mole 2: The Next Betrayal" contain enough drama and entertainment to continue to draw in ratings or will this blunder relegate the Mole 2 to a footnote in the annals of Reality TV history and fail to accomplish the lasting vision of the franchise. Time will tell.
