So today was Jos Claerbout's Birthday. Jos was a co-worker of mine from my WebTV days. Jos passed away a few years ago from a sudden heart attack at the tender age of 25. It's always a tragedy when someone so young passes away. It is especially difficult when that person is someone that brought so much joy to so many people.
To give you an example of how Jos was so over the top, once in a Hawaian shirt contest he beat my stellar hula girl Don Ho, 'where did you get that shirt!' by entering the contest in a Mumu. This equally gangly goon with his receding hairline prounced around in this dress all afternoon... It was a classic moment and one of the moments I will always treasure when I think about Jos. Happy Birthday buddy...

For those who have not seen Last Comic Standing. I suggest you check this show out on NBC. There is this one guy Ralphie May, the guy is hilarious and fat... The show is hosted by B-Actor and comedian Bill Mohr who is good freinds with Ralphie... I saw Ralphie (Homeless Outside!!!) in Vegas, open up for Bill Mohr and I know the two of them are friends. I think Ralphie is hilarious and it's good to see Jay help his buddy out.... Mohr threw his chubby buddy a lob and asked if he had ever been on Fear Factor since Joe Rogonia was on the judges panel. Ralphie proceeds to explain how he could be an event on Fear Factor... Very Funny stuff. In a time of little to no fat guys in the biz, Sorry Horatio Sands start eating.... Ralphie is a welcome addition to the world of comedy. Gumbo Anyone?
